Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the audio/AVN head unit assembly.
(Refer to Body Electrical System - "AUDIO UNIT ") And (Refer to Body Electrical System - "AVN HEAD UNIT ")
Remove the glove box housing assembly.
(Refer to Body - "GLOVE BOX HOUSING ")
Separate the wiring fixed clip (A) on the BCM bracket.

Loosen the mounting nuts from the BCM unit.

Disconnect the connectors from the BCM (in the order as below)

1. Disconnect the connectors (A) from the direction of removing the Audio/AVN head unit.

2. Disconnect the connectors (A) from the direction of removing the glove box housing.

When to See a Mechanic

Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

• You smell fuel, burning insulation, or see smoke.

• Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.

• The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.

• You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.

• You are not confident in the next step or safety outcome.
