Repair Procedures: Removal

2015 Kia Soul Base, Automatic TransSECTION Removal
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the crash pad lower panel.

    (Refer to "CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")

  3. Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds.

    (Refer to "STEERING COLUMN SHROUD PANEL ")

  4. Remove the wiper switch.

    (Refer to MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH )

  5. Remove the ignition switch after loosening disconnecting the ignition switch 6P connector (A).

  6. Remove the ignition switch assembly (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.

  7. If it is necessary to remove the key lock cylinder (A), it is in the order as below.
    1. Disconnect the key warning/immobilizer connector (A)

    2. Turn the key to ACC (A).

    3. Remove the key lock cylinder (B) while pushing the removal/installation button under the key cylinder (A).
