Repair Procedures: Removal
- Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
- Remove the battery.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "BATTERY ")
- Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Disconnect the TCM connector (A).
- Remove the TCM (B) by loosening bracket nut & bolt.
Tightening torque:
9.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)
- Remove the TCM from the bracket by loosening the nuts (A).
Tightening torque:
8.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)
