  1. Opening can be triggered by receiving opening signal from one of the following:
    • Trunk lid outside handle switch
    • Driver side crash pad switch (crash pad switch)
    • SMK (remote key, smart key)
  2. On receiving opening signal, the power latch will move from locked to unlocked status.
  3. PTM controls the operating units including the motor to rotate/operate in the direction of opening.
  4. The rotating speed of motor can be controlled by the hall sensor built into the trunk lid motor.
    • It increases motor speed if It is slower than set value and vice versa.
    • if the pulse interval of the hall sensor is long, the operation will be stopped after determining that there is jamming or obstacle in the operating range.
