Repair Procedures: Inspection

2015 Kia K900 V6SECTION Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the LHS trunk trim after opening the trunk.

    (Proceed to Body - "TRUNK TRIM ".)

  3. Remove motor connector from wiring harness.
  4. Connect the motor terminals directly to battery voltage (12V) to check that the motor operates smoothly. Then, reverse the polarity and check for smooth operation. Replace the motor if the operation is abnormal.
