Circuit Testing

- Turn ignition on. Using a voltmeter, ensure battery voltage exists at each specified pin of master power window switch while operating switch. See MASTER SWITCH POWER DISTRIBUTIONΒ
. SeeFigure
. If switch tests okay, go to next step. If switch fails one or more condition, replace master power window switch. Retest system.MASTER SWITCH POWER DISTRIBUTION
Window Condition Wire Color (Pin No.) Right Front UP Red/Yellow (2) Right Front DOWN Green/Yellow (9) Left Rear UP Red/Blue (10) Left Rear DOWN Blue/White (11) Right Rear UP Red/White (13) Right Rear DOWN Green/White (14) - With ignition on, ensure battery voltage exists at each specified pin each individual passenger window switch while operating switch. See PASSENGER SWITCH POWER SUPPLYΒ . SeeFigure . If power supply to switches test okay, go to MASTER SWITCH OPERATES ALL WINDOWS/ONE OR MOREΒ PASSENGER SWITCH INOPERATIVE. If power supply to one or more switch is not present, repair appropriate power feed circuit to passenger window switch. Retest system.
