2024 Jeep Wagoneer L Series II, RWDFACTORY OEM SERVICE PROCEDURE

Functional Description - Display Screen Module (DSM)

Adjustable Chime Volume

The customer has three available volume settings in the customer programmable settings menu for the audible park assist chime warning level.

The CVPAM receives a gated request through the BCM for the volume setting information from the park assist system from the IPC. In the event the IPC signal is not received, the default volume signal is set to medium.

When the IPC signal to the CVPAM is equal to low, medium or high the CVPAM sends the appropriate level warning chime to the front or the rear of the vehicle.
