If the Electronic Steering Lock (ESL) module is replaced:
- Connect the diagnostic scan tool to the vehicle.
- Navigate to the BCM in the "Misc Functions" menu.
- Start the "BCM Secret key transfer to ECM" routine.
- Start the "BCM Secret key transfer to ESL" routine.
