2023 Jeep Compass RedSECTION Load Testing A Ground Circuit

DIAGNOSTIC LOAD TEST (GROUND CIRCUIT)Β

  2. Disconnect the connector from the device(s) to gain access and isolate the terminal for the circuit being tested.
  3. Connect the positive lead of the load test tool to the positive side of the Battery.
  4. Using an approved connector back probe tool, connect the negative lead of the load test tool to the ground circuit at the component harness connector (A). Note:Β  refer to the diagram above.
    NOTE:

    The bulb on the load test tool should be illuminated and bright if there is no resistance in the ground circuit.
