Removal And Installation: Installation

- Position the steering gear (2) to the crossmember (3).
- Install and tighten the two steering gear bolts (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ .
- Position the heat shield then install the two heat shield bolts (4) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ .
- Install the crossmember. Refer to CROSSMEMBER, FRONT SUSPENSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or CROSSMEMBER, REAR SUSPENSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or CROSSMEMBER, REAR SUSPENSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
