2023 Jeep Compass AltitudeSECTION Removal
  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

  2. Remove the cover (2) from the door panel (1).
  3. Remove the bolt (3) from door panel (1)

  4. Lift the switch bezel (2) up and then lift out of the door panel (1).
  5. Disconnect the wiring harness connector.

  6. Carefully disengage the switch bezel (1) from the switch bank (2), by releasing the switch bezel retaining clips.
