Sensor, TMAP-Intake Manifold: Removal

2023 Jeep Cherokee TrailhawkSECTION Removal
  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine covers. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL .
  3. Remove OBD vent valve. Refer to SOLENOID, EVAPORATIVE EMISSIONS PURGE, REMOVAL .

  4. Disconnect the Temperature/Manifold Air Pressure (TMAP) wire harness connector (1).
  5. Remove the screw (2) and remove the TMAP sensor (3) complete with O-ring.
