Solenoid, Variable Valve Timing: Installation
2023 Jeep Cherokee TrailhawkSECTION Installation
- Install a NEW
gasket (1).
- Install the Variable Valve Timing (VVT) solenoid (1) and tighten the bolts (2) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- If removed, install the right isolator to engine mount bracket bolt (2) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the VVT solenoid wire harness connector (1).
- Install the clean air hose and air cleaner body cover. Refer to HOSE, CLEAN AIR, INSTALLATION .
- Install the top engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
