Battery System (Service Information): Battery: Installation

- Set the battery into the battery tray.
- Install the battery retainer and battery retainer bolt and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the battery thermal protection cover.
- Install the positive battery cable and terminal to the battery positive post and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the Intelligent Battery Sensor. Refer to SENSOR, INTELLIGENT BATTERY (IBS), INSTALLATION .
