- Position the front door switch module close enough to the mounting hole in the armrest of the front door trim panel to access and connect the front door wire harness connector (1) to the switch connector receptacle.
- Align the switch module to the armrest mounting hole.
- Using hand pressure, press the switch module firmly and evenly into the mounting hole until the spring steel retainers of the switch are fully engaged and the switch bezel is fully seated against the armrest.
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
