Power Window Motor - Smart
Vehicles equipped with the One Touch Up/Down option use a "smart" window motor assembly. The smart window motors contain the electronics required to provide express up or down operation without the use of separate door modules.
The smart window motor will enter sleep mode after 20 seconds if ALL of the following conditions are true:
- No motor movement (stall condition previously detected)
- No switch input is active or the stuck switch condition has not been detected
- No stuck relay condition has been detected
- Window thermal protection is not in severe or activated mode
The smart window motor wakes up based on the following inputs:
- Any switch input becomes active
- Hardware reset
- Voltage is detected in any output from the relay to the motor terminals
The smart window motor does not communicate with the other modules on the vehicle.
