Section 2 - Additional Pcm / TCM Replacement Procedures
If an EDC16-U31 PCM was replaced, perform the following additional steps and/or routines:Β
- PCM Replaced - if WCM equipped
- Check PCM VIN - if NOT WCM equipped
- Program Variant Code
If an EDC16-C2 PCM was replaced, perform the following additional steps and/or routines:Β
- PCM Replaced - if WCM equipped
- Check PCM VIN - if NOT WCM / SKREEM equipped
- IMA Rapid Calibration Test - Only on 06 PT AND up
- Injector Quantity Adjustment - Only on 06 PT AND up
If an EDC16-CP31 was replaced, perform the following additional steps and/or routines:Β
- PCM Replaced - if WCM equipped
- Check PCM VIN - if NOT WCM equipped
- Diesel Particulate Filter (Used) Learning
- NOx Catalyst (New) Initialization
- Injector Quantity Adjustment
- IMA Rapid Calibration Test
- Fuel Mean Value Adaptation Initialization
- Exhaust Throttle Plate Adaptive Learn Position
If an EDC16-CP31-2 was replaced, perform the following additional steps and/or routines:Β
- PCM Replaced - if WCM equipped
- Check PCM VIN - if NOT WCM equipped
- Injector Quantity Adjustment
- Program Variant Code
- ECU Replacement With Value Transfer - if the ECU to be replaced is still responsive
- ECU Replacement Without Value Transfer - if the ECU to be replaced is NOT responsive
- Fuel Mean Value Adaptation Initialization
- IMA Rapid Calibration Test
- Set Oil Dilution Mass Value
If a CM849 PCM was replaced, perform the following additional steps and/or routines:Β
- PCM Replaced - if WCM equipped
- Check PCM VIN - if NOT WCM equipped
If a CM2100 PCM was replaced, perform the following additional steps and/or routines:Β
- PCM Replaced - if WCM equipped
- Check PCM VIN - if NOT WCM equipped
- Enable / Disable Vehicle Features - need to enable features
- Injector Quantity Adjustment
- Reset Regenerative Filter Timers
- Mobile DeSoot - NO Minimum Required Soot Load
If an Aisin TCM was replaced, perform the following additional steps and/or routines:Β
