The charging system consists of:

  • Generator
  • Generator decoupler pulley (if equipped)
  • Electronic Voltage Regulator (EVR) circuitry within the Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
  • Ignition switch

  • Generator lamp (if equipped)
  • Check gauges lamp (if equipped)
  • Voltmeter (refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER - SERVICE INFORMATION for information)
