Main Bearing Cap Torque

Tighten main bearing cap bolts to 13 Nm ( 10 ft. lbs.) in the sequence shown.
Tighten main bearing cap bolts to 27 Nm ( 20 ft. lbs.) in the sequence shown.
Rotate main cap bolts an additional 90° in the sequence shown.

Install the crossbolts with new seal washer. Starting with crossbolt A,
Tighten crossbolt to 28 Nm ( 21 ft. lbs.).
Repeat crossbolt tightening procedure.
