INSTALLATION

Threads of new oxygen sensors are factory coated with anti-seize compound to aid in removal. DO NOT add any additional anti-seize compound to threads of a new oxygen sensor.

1. Install the O2S sensor and tighten to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
2. Connect the O2S sensor electrical connector.
3. If equipped with four oxygen sensors and installing the right-upstream O2S sensor, connect the O2S sensor electrical connector, raise the transmission and install the crossmember to frame bolts and tighten to 68 Nm (50 ft.lbs.), remove the safety stand or jack.
4. Lower vehicle.
