NOTE: The Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) label(s) must be in place for the life of the vehicle. When replacing the component in which the VECI label is adhered, a new VECI label must also be adhered to the new component.

All vehicles are equipped with a combined VECI label(s). The label is located in the engine compartment on the vehicle hood. Two labels are used for vehicles built for sale in the country of Canada.

The VECI label(s) contain the following:

- Engine family and displacement
- Evaporative family
- Certification application
- Spark plug and gap
