LAMP

Factory service manual diagram

1. Position the cargo lamp unit (1) to the mounting hole in the sport bar trim.
2. Reconnect the wire harness connector to the connector receptacle (4) on the back of the lamp housing.
3. There are four retention tabs (2) with live hinges on the back of the lamp housing that secure the lamp in the mounting hole after the lamp is installed. Be certain that all four tabs are folded inward toward the center of the lamp housing in their installation position (3) and that the lens hangs down perpendicularly from the housing, then insert the lamp housing up into the mounting hole in the sport bar trim.
4. With the bezel of the lamp housing held flush against the sport bar trim, swing the notched end of the lamp lens into position against the housing, then press on the lens firmly and evenly until it snaps into the housing.
5. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
