FLEX PLATE TORQUE AND SEQUENCE





1. Position the flexplate onto the crankshaft and install the bolts hand tight.
2. Tighten the flexplate retaining bolts to 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.) in the sequence shown.

4.7L

FLEX PLATE TORQUE AND SEQUENCE





1. Position the flexplate onto the crankshaft and install the bolts hand tight.
2. Tighten the flexplate retaining bolts to 60 Nm (45 ft. lbs.) in the sequence shown.

1. Position the flexplate or flywheel onto the crankshaft and install the bolts hand tight.
2. For automatic transmissions: Tighten the flexplate retaining bolts to 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.).
