  5. Disconnect key-in ignition switch connector (4-wire connector located at ignition). Connect a jumper wire between ignition switch sense circuit (Light Blue wire) and system ground (Black wire) at key-in ignition switch connector. If DRB displays KEY IN IGN:CLOSED, replace ignition switch. Perform TEST VER-1BΒ  . If DRB does not display KEY IN IGN:CLOSED, go to next step.
  6. Connect a jumper wire between ignition switch sense circuit (Light Blue wire) and chassis ground. If DRB displays KEY IN IGN:CLOSED, repair open in Black wire. Perform TEST VER-1BΒ  . If DRB does not display KEY IN IGN:CLOSED, go to next step.
  7. Gain access to Body Control Module (BCM). BCM is located behind center console. Connect a jumper wire between key-in ignition switch sense circuit at Blue BCM connector terminal No. 4 (Light Blue wire) and ground. If DRB displays KEY IN IGN:CLOSED, repair open in Light Blue wire. Perform TEST VER-1BΒ  . If DRB does not display KEY IN IGN:CLOSED, replace BCM. Perform TEST VER-1BΒ  .
