Fuel Injector Resistor
Unplug injector resistor harness connector. Injector resistor is located at upper left firewall. Measure resistance between injector resistor terminal No. 1 and terminals No. 2, 3, 5 and 6. See Fig 1 . Resistance should be 5-7 ohms for each measurement. If any measurement is not as specified, replace injector resistor.

Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
