Component Function Check
- CHECK FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE (FPCM) FUNCTION
With CONSULT-III
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Select "FPCM" in "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT-III.
- Check "FPCM" indication under the following conditions.MONITOR ITEM CONDITION CHART
Monitor item Condition Indication FPCM - Engine: Cranking
HI - Engine: Idle
- Engine coolant temperature: More than 10 °C (50 °F)
LOW
Without CONSULT-III
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check the voltage between ECM harness connector terminal as per the following.CONNECTOR TERMINAL VOLTAGE CHART
ECM Condition Voltage (V) + - Connector Terminal Connector Terminal F105 14 M9 128 - Engine: Cranking
0 - 0.5 32 14 - Engine: Idle
- Engine coolant temperature: More than 10 °C (50 °F)
Approx. 0 32 Is the inspection result normal?
YES: INSPECTION END
NO: Go to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
