Repair Procedures: Removal

2022 Hyundai Ioniq Plug-In Hybrid SELSECTION Removal
  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")

  3. Disconnect the EEGR control valve connector (A).

  4. Remove the EGR cooler pipe.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "EGR COOLER ")

  5. Remove the EEGR control valve (B) after removing the mounting bolt and nut (A).
