Repair Procedures: Removal

2014 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid BaseSECTION Removal
  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
  2. Drain the engine coolant (Refer to "COOLING SYSTEM ").
  3. Remove the radiator upper hose (Refer to "COOLING SYSTEM ").
  4. Disconnect the knock sensor connector (A).

  5. Remove the intake manifold (Refer to "INTAKE AND EXHAUST SYSTEM ").
  6. Remove the installation bolt (A), and then remove the sensor from the cylinder block.
