Repair Procedures: Removal
2014 Hyundai Equus SignatureSECTION Removal
- Remove the center console.
(Refer to FLOOR CONSOLE .
- Disconnect the sports mode connector (A).
- Remove the shift cable assembly (A) from the shift lever assembly.
- Remove the shift lever assembly (A) by removing the bolts.
Tightening torque:Β
7.8 ~ 12.7 N.m (0.8 ~ 1.3 kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 9.4 lb-ft)
- Remove the clip (C).
- Remove the shift cable (A) from the inhibitor by removing the nut (B).
Tightening torque:Β
12.7 ~ 15.7 N.m (1.3 ~ 1.6 kgf.m, 9.4 ~ 11.6 lb-ft)
- Remove the shift cable assembly (B) by removing the nuts (A).
Tightening torque:Β
6.9 ~ 10.8 N.m (0.7 ~ 1.1 kgf.m, 5.1 ~ 8.0 lb-ft)
