CAUTION:
- When removing and installing the trunk lid, an assistant is necessary.
- Take care not to be closed the trunk when removing the push rod.
- Wear gloves to protect hands from injury.
- Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Remove the left trunk trim in the trunk. (Refer to the TRUNK TRIM .
- Remove the power trunk connecting rod (B) after removing the push rod pin (A).NOTE:
- Only remove the gas lifter when removing the whole trunk assembly.
