Repair Procedures: Removal

2014 Hyundai Azera LimitedSECTION Removal
  1. Remove the center console assembly.

    (Refer to "FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ")

  2. Remove the duct (A).

  3. Disconnect sports mode connector (A).

  4. Remove the shift cable (B).

  5. Remove the wiring (A).

  6. Remove the shift lever assembly (B) by removing the bolts (A-4ea).

    Tightening torque:Β 

    8.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)

  7. Installation is the reverse of removal.
    NOTE: Make sure vehicle does not roll before setting room side shift lever and Automatic Transaxle (AT) side manual control lever to "N" position.
