Bench Testing: Stator

2003 Hyundai Tiburon Base, AutomaticSECTION Stator
  1. Check continuity between stator coil leads. See Fig 1. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace stator assembly.
  2. Check continuity between each stator coil lead and stator core. See Fig 2. There should be no continuity between any stator coil lead and stator core. If continuity exists, replace stator assembly.
