Driver's Position Memory System: Description
The 2-position Integrated Memory System (IMS), located on driver's door, controls the memory for the driver's seat and both outside mirror positions. Two different driver seat and outside mirror position profiles can be entered into the IMS. Vehicle multiplexed communication system is used between front doors and Electronic Timing and Alarm Control System (ETACS). Vehicles equipped with IMS have the IMS communication added to multiplexed system. Multiplex communication signals for window (up/down), outside mirror (in/out and up/down) and power door lock operation are carried between the ETACS, the driver's door module, the passenger's door assisted module and the IMS control module.
