Main Bearing Cap Tightening Sequence
Caps should be installed with arrow mark directed toward front of engine. Cap number must be correct.
Tighten cap bolts to specified torque in sequence of center No. 2, No. 4, front and rear caps.
Cap bolts should be tightened evenly in from 4 to 5 stages before they are tightened to specified torque.
