Master Switch Assembly

2000 Hyundai Sonata Base, AutomaticSECTION Master Switch Assembly

Battery voltage is applied to power window relay when ignition switch is in RUN position through 10-amp fuse No. 10 (Accent) or fuse No. 16 (Elantra and Tiburon), located in passenger compartment fuse panel. On Sonata, battery voltage is supplied by way of power window fusible link (30-amp) in underhood relay block, to the master switch assembly through relay's closed contacts. When either switch in the master switch assembly is operated, battery voltage is applied to the power window motor. The motor is then grounded through the opposite contact in the master switch assembly.
