ISC Motor Harness Inspection

1994 Hyundai Excel GL, StandardSECTION ISC Motor Harness Inspection
  1. Check continuity of circuits between ISC motor and ECM. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect ECM harness connector. Connect jumper wire between ECM harness connector terminal No. 23 (Blue/Yellow wire, 26-pin connector) and vehicle ground. See Figure .
  2. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between ISC motor harness connector terminal No. 1 (Red wire) and vehicle ground. If continuity does not exist, inspect and repair circuit as needed.
  3. Move jumper wire between ECM harness connector terminal No. 10 (Blue/White wire, 26-pin connector) and vehicle ground. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between ISC motor harness connector terminal No. 2 (Orange wire) and vehicle ground. If continuity does not exist, inspect and repair circuit as needed.
