Transaxle Range Switch (A/T Models)

Transaxle Range switch is a multiple pole switch that controls battery voltage to ECM. When shift selector lever is in Neutral or Park position, switch inhibits ECM from voltage. Any other shifter selection supplies voltage to ECM. ECM determines automatic transmission load and signals Idle Air Control (IAC) servo to maintain optimum idle speed.
