Idle Switch
Idle switch is a contact-type switch. When throttle valve is closed, switch is activated. When throttle valve is in any other position, switch is deactivated. Switch is used by ECM for controlling fuel delivery time during deceleration and also as an idle speed adjusting device.

When to See a Mechanic
