Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Removing/Installing Shift Lock Actuator

In the DRIVE position, depress the shift lock actuator button and realign into the shifter lever.
Push lever to NEUTRAL.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the top screw through the lever slot.
Tighten: Tighten the actuator screw to 1.65 N.m (15 lb in).
Shift lever to LOW.
Install the screw at the rear of the shifter assembly.
Tighten: Tighten the actuator screw to 1.65 N.m (15 lb in).

Connect the electrical connector (3).

Install the console. Refer to Console Replacement .
