Safety Warning
DIY auto repair can cause serious injury, fire, or vehicle damage. These guides are for informational purposes only. Always follow OEM torque specs, wear PPE, and consult a certified mechanic if you are unsure. You are solely responsible for your safety.
Power Window Master Switch Test/Replacement
- Remove the switch cover from the door panel (see FRONT DOOR PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Disconnect the 20P connector (A) from the master switch (B).
- Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the tables.
Driver's Switch
The driver's switch is combined with the control unit so you cannot isolate the switch to test it.
Instead, run the master switch input test procedures (see POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH INPUT TEST ). If the tests are normal, the driver's switch must be faulty.
