Ignition Switch/Steering Lock: Test
SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations, precautions, and procedures in the SRS before performing repairs or servicing (see COMPONENT LOCATION INDEX ).
- Remove the driver's pocket.
- Disconnect the 7P connector from the under-dash fuse/relay box.
- Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.
- If the continuity is not as specified, replace the steering lock assembly (see STEERING LOCK REPLACEMENT ).
