E-Shifter is a function that senses the driver's shift will change the position of the lever and transmits it to the TCM as an electrical signal.

  1. Sensing the change of lever position to transfer information from the lever to the E-Shifter. (ECU)
  2. Transfer of lever position information from E-Shifter to TCM. (CAN)
  3. The TCM simultaneously determines other conditions of the vehicle and shifts it to the shifting stage corresponding to the lever position.
  4. TCM checks the final stage information of the transmission and transmits the information to the E-Shifter and the cluster. (CAN)
