E-Shifter is a function that senses the driver's shift will change the position of the lever and transmits it to the TCM as an electrical signal.
- Sensing the change of lever position to transfer information from the lever to the E-Shifter. (ECU)
- Transfer of lever position information from E-Shifter to TCM. (CAN)
- The TCM simultaneously determines other conditions of the vehicle and shifts it to the shifting stage corresponding to the lever position.
- TCM checks the final stage information of the transmission and transmits the information to the E-Shifter and the cluster. (CAN)
