  • Electrical monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Short to battery in MPI injector #1 circuit
  3. Faulty MPI injector
Enable Condition
  • Battery voltage is between 10 and 16V
  • Engine speed is more than 6016 RPM
  • Not fuel cut condition (acceleration pedal less than 90%)
  • Power stage command "OFF"
  • Main pulse of cylinder individual injection time is longer than 1.3 ms
Threshold Value
  • Injector output current is more than 4 - 7A or internal temperature is more than 160 to 200°C (320 to 392°F)
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
