Installation Procedure
2016 GMC Acadia SLE, FWDSECTION Installation Procedure
- Install a NEW air cleaner element (4).
- Position the air cleaner housing cover (3) (with outlet duct) onto the air cleaner lower housing.
- Connect the windshield washer hose clip to the air cleaner housing cover.
- Install the air cleaner outlet duct onto the throttle body.
- Tighten the 6 air cleaner housing cover screws (2).
- Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp (1) at the throttle body.
Tighten
Tighten the clamp to 4 N.m (35 lb in).
- Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the MAF/IAT sensor.
- Connect the PCV quick disconnect (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement .
NOTE:
Ensure the windshield washer hose is routed properly and not trapped between the upper cover and lower housing.
