Pressure Switch Manifold (PSM) (4L80-E Transmission)

The PSM is actually 5 pressure switches combined into a single unit mounted on the transmission valve body. The PCM supplies battery voltage on 3 separate wires to PSM. By grounding one or more of the switches in various combinations, PCM detects what gear range the vehicle operator has selected.
