Safety Warning
DIY auto repair can cause serious injury, fire, or vehicle damage. These guides are for informational purposes only. Always follow OEM torque specs, wear PPE, and consult a certified mechanic if you are unsure. You are solely responsible for your safety.
Normal Operation And Fault Conditions
With the ignition ON, the GWM sends messages to the ABS module over the HS-CAN 2. If the ABS module does not receive these messages within a certain time frame (usually less than 1 second), the ABS module sets DTCs. This can be due to a GWM failure, a circuit failure on the HS-CAN or an excessive load on the network. For information on the messages sent to the ABS module by the GWM, refer to the Network Message Chart in Description and Operation of the Β Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Stability ControlΒ article.Β
| DTC | Description | Fault Trigger Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| U0146:00 | Lost Communication With Gateway 'A': No Sub Type Information | This DTC sets in the ABS module if the GSM message from the GWM is missing for more than the allotted time. |
