Module Communications Network DTCS: BCM
| DTC | Description | Action |
|---|---|---|
| U0004 | High Speed CAN Communication Bus (+) Low: No Sub Type Information | A High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN) fault was present at a point in time. The fault is not currently present since the module is communicating with the scan tool. CLEAR the DTC . REPEAT the network test with the scan tool. VERIFY the integrity of the connectors and wiring. Refer to SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS Wiring Diagrams Cell 14 for schematic and connector information. |
| U0005 | High Speed CAN Communication Bus (+) High: No Sub Type Information | A High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN) fault is present but the network may still be functional at a degraded level. One or more modules may not communicate and may not be sending or receiving messages. GO to PINPOINT TEST AD |
| U0007 | High Speed CAN Communication Bus (-) Low: No Sub Type Information | A High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN) fault is present but the network may still be functional at a degraded level. One or more modules may not communicate and may not be sending or receiving messages. GO to PINPOINT TEST AD |
| U0008 | High Speed CAN Communication Bus (-) High: No Sub Type Information | A High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN) fault was present at a point in time. |
| U0009 | High Speed CAN Communication Bus (-) Shorted to Bus (+): No Sub Type Information | A High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN) fault was present at a point in time. |
| U0013 | Medium Speed CAN Communication Bus (+) Low: No Sub Type Information | A Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN) fault is either currently present or was present at a point in time. The BCM can report this DTC while a fault is present because the BCM communicates with the scan tool on the High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN). If no Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN) modules communicate, GO to PINPOINT TEST AF If all Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN) modules currently communicate, CLEAR the DTC . REPEAT the network test with the scan tool. VERIFY the integrity of the connectors and wiring. Refer to SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS Wiring Diagrams Cell 14 for schematic and connector information. |
| U0014 | Medium Speed CAN Communication Bus (+) High: No Sub Type Information | A Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN) fault is present but the network may still be functional at a degraded level. One or more modules may not communicate and may not be sending or receiving messages. GO to PINPOINT TEST AF |
| U0016 | Medium Speed CAN Communication Bus (-) Low: No Sub Type Information | A Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN) fault is present but the network may still be functional at a degraded level. One or more modules may not communicate and may not be sending or receiving messages. GO to PINPOINT TEST AF |
| U0017 | Medium Speed CAN Communication Bus(-) High: No Sub Type Information | A Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN) fault is either currently present or was present at a point in time. Refer to SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS for schematic and connector information. |
| U0018 | Medium Speed CAN Communication Bus (-) Shorted to Bus (+): No Sub Type Information | A Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN) fault was present at a point in time. The fault is not currently present since the module is communicating with the scan tool. CLEAR the DTC . REPEAT the network test with the scan tool. VERIFY the integrity of the connectors and wiring. Refer to SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS for schematic and connector information. |
