Removal and Installation

All

1. NOTE: Module configuration is required when a new audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) module is being installed.
Upload the audio DSP (Digital Signal Processing) module configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to Programmable Module Installation (PMI) in Information Bus Programming and Relearning.

2. Remove the subwoofer speaker. For additional information, refer to Speaker- Subwoofer Speaker - Subwoofer.

3. Disconnect the audio DSP (Digital Signal Processing) module electrical connectors.

4. Remove the 4 screws and the audio DSP (Digital Signal Processing) module.

5. Remove the 3 screws the nut and the audio DSP (Digital Signal Processing) module.

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Download the configuration information to the audio DSP (Digital Signal Processing) module. For additional information, refer to PMI (Programmable Module Installation) in Information Bus. Programming and Relearning
