Engine Front Cover Front Fasteners
In The Sequence Shown
First pass: fasteners 1-5 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs)
Second pass: fasteners 6-7 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs)
Final pass: fasteners 8-15 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs)
Engine Front Cover Lower Fasteners
First pass 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs).
Final pass Tighten 60°
Crankshaft Pulley Bolt
This bolt is torque-to-yield and cannot be reused.
First pass 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs).
Second pass Loosen one full turn
Third pass 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs)
Final pass Tighten 90°
LH or RH Timing Chain Tensioner
Tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs)
