Module Controlled Functions - Remote Anti-Theft Personality (Rap) Module: Notes
The remote anti-theft personality (RAP) module uses a keyless remote entry transmitter to lock/unlock the door(s) and arm/disarm anti-theft (if equipped). Three levels of the RAP module are available:
- Driver door remote system with anti-theft.
- Two-door remote entry with anti-theft.
- Anti-theft only (available only in Mexico).
All levels of the RAP module use a keyless remote entry transmitter that emits a radio frequency called a transmitter identification code (TIC). TICs can be retrieved using a scan tool.
